Lizzy Garza, also known as “La Reina Regia”, is a singer-songwriter who resides in Los Angles. Born out of a Mexican family, Lizzy was conceived in the State capital of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. During the course of her adolescence, she traveled to Sonora, Baja California and arrived in Los Angeles, California at the age of 15. Thereafter, she began to develop her unique style performing in a variety of bands, as the lead singer, for the next decade in Southern California. In 2010, she decided to pursue a career in music and recorded her first cover album “Quien Te Cantara?” where she explored new concepts in Duranguense music. Soon after, the album was awarded “Best Album Duranguense 2010” from Premios Talento at the Million Dollar Theatre. Her career as a songwriter was introduced in 2011 with her second album, accompanied by a Norteño Banda band, titled “La Bola”. “La Bola”, a self-published record, proved to be a popular album and was heard across Southern California in networks such as Radio Lazer, El Portal 95.9, La Mexicana 1410AM, 1220AM, W690am, and online on Pandora, Spotify, to name a few. Today, Lizzy is developing her next Norteño Banda album and will explore a Pop sound and Banda music. She will release several of her new musical compositions in collaboration with Edgar Rodriguez from Voces del Rancho, and Luna Music in Hollywood, CA. The upcoming album is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2017.
