Kandle is an alternative rock singer-songwriter and producer. Following her acclaimed self-titled EP, Kandle paired up with Sam Goldberg (Broken Social Scene) to create the widely- celebrated 'In Flames' (2014, Dare to Care). ‘Not Up To Me’ was nominated for a Juno Award and won the Prism Prize Fan Choice Award (2015). Kandle toured throughout North America and Europe to promote 'In Flames', sharing the stage with Half Moon Run, Lou Doillon, Televsion, Cœur de Pirate and others. In 2016, with Sam Goldberg, Devon Portielje, Graham Walsh, and John Agnello, Kandle made her most powerful, thematic record yet. The single ‘When My Body Breaks’ (2018) featuring Peter Dreimanis (July Talk) was nominated for the 2018 JUNO Award for Engineer of the Year. In 2018, Kandle went to Nashville to star in Jack White’s video (‘Corporation’). Her own music videos “Bender” (directed by Kat Webber) and “Broken Boys” (directed by Lauren Graham) have been an integral part of Kandle’s artistry. She has had features in Elle, Dressed to Kill, Flare, Nylon and more. Kandle was the first English artist to grace the cover of Voir magazine. She has been sponsored by Rudsak, Aldo, Skullcandy, Herschel, Lustre, Delphine and more. She has recently signed to LA's premier talent agency "Fourward" (Chris Hemsworth, Zac Brown) and is working on her 4th album with legendary rock producer "Youth" in London, while also developing a tv show about a rock n roll Bonnie and Clyde style band.
