Cipherella is a talented emcee, songwriter, and musician who is skilled in the art of storytelling. Born and raised in Tuscaloosa, AL, Cipherella sought refuge in New York City in 2013- two years after she and her mother lost everything in a tornado- to further her musical career and solidify herself as a artist contender. Since her arrival in the big apple, Cipherella has been featured on Sway in the Morning, twice, she has performed at Brooklyn Academy of Music, served as the host for New York’s longest running monthly open mic at the infamous NuYoricans Poets café; she has been a contributing writer for M-Pire Magazine, her music video "Moments" is the winner of 11 national and international music video awards; her music video "Dumb Dumb" was an official film selection of 2019 SXSW Film Festival. Cipherella is currently a reappearing guest judge for Supreme Bars: The Ultimate Emcee and Producer Battle, and a teaching artist with BEAT Global. Her first studio album, 22:11 Prelude, is out now.
