Mahya Veray y su Trauma

Mahya Veray is a Puerto Rican artist, singer, and producer that marks in her tones and melodies the Caribbean beat composed by the tropical magic that characterizes the island. María José Veray Mazo, also known in the warm streets of Puerto Rico as Mahya, is the daughter of multiculturalism being the child of a Puerto Rican father and a Spanish mother. Growing up between the amalgamate of cultures and being the niece of one of the best Puerto Rican composers, Amaury Veray (composer of “Villancico Yaucano”), generated in her soul a fervor passion for music since she was a little girl. Also, as an infant, Mahya understood the importance and the role of music; it unites, shakes the spirit, and encourage even the shy and modest hearts to dance and animate their own existence.
